From The Head Blogger

The main principles Of Mike Houlden's Tech Corner These are Theoretically Basic Principles that I have chosen to uphold ever since I began this blog in 2007.I hope everyone will read and understand these principles for they are designed to Make clear some basic ideas one must have in order to understand how this site functions, what our beliefs are,and what we stand for. 1. No one shall ever post anything without giving credit to the segments author (via footnoting the source of the written materials,Pictures, works, etc).it is a bad idea to post a blog using someone else's work without giving them the credit and/or Calling their work as your own.If you are indicating that someone else wrote the article in question, then by all means, kindly link to that article as a point of refferance. 2. By no means will pornographic pictures or language be tolerated.Pictures should have relevance to subject matter. 3. No plagerism is permitted without linking to the blog in question.Always pay credit to the work's author. The basic fundamental ideas of this blog site is: To educate basic computer users,to breakdown tech jargon, and to allow the user to understand not only what a operating system does, what it's functions do,what the functions could do,what support is available both here and their respective manufacturer's sites, and new technological advances there is available today. Also what will be discussed in this forum will be new legislation regarding computers and internet regulations (per country). We are a world wide service and there are no boundaries to how this information effects us all. There will be a classic computer page designed to explain what models were popular and when and what they did in their day. There will be a full explained list of who is on staff, what they do,and in their field of expertise will be. There Will be a rating system based on 1 to 10 stars per item being reviewed and all participants are welcomed to give their own review. Please remember to keep the language clean and explain full detail why you rate the item as you do. Writers will note the simplicity of the text editors (as google permits). All writers are responsible for their perspective postings. At the end of the week I will go through all the rated items in the "Houlden Report" which will include new information towards the end of the report after the ratings listings.Every writer will have their own article or blog post. The site's aim is to be a community built on the linux theory that ALL opinions are expressed. That everyone should have the right to post their input (regardless of what operating system they use). Let's try to not give crackpot theories a chance to materialize without having substance.if a theory is a crackpot theory, then please note it as such. The basics are laid out.We are community based with ideals in mind to make this site a very free, educational website where the average computer user can go to get help and receive help from reliable sources, without all the hype. The reader will choose what is best for the reader. It is our daunting task to make the user a educated and informed user.We want Contributors,We want readers,we want community support,we want sponsors,we want our main ideal to thrive. The ideals of this site, and it's contributors as a whole, lay entirely on the support of it's readers and those who contribute their time and effort. So,I ask you this: If you have not expertise in the field of writing,do you feel you want to write and be able to help others? If so,then here is your opportunity to give it a go at it! I tell you this: No Matter how great or how small a contribution you make towards this site,in any way you feel you can,you will have had the opportunity to help make this world a better place.Even in a small way.You indeed would have educated someone else who hasn't been as privileged to learn what you had learned. So Please become involved,be a writer,a member,a part of this ongoing community of techhies, computer users, teachers, and people alike.I actually welcome this.
