 The HOULDEN REPORT for 2-5-2024  The tech confusion and recalling old school tech ...  I know it has been two years since my last post. However,My Dilemma still is an issue. All of this Modern technology (solid state drives and ram) is just way too much. I recall a time when Motorola had the brick cell phone that only reached a mile,The Pocket Fisherman by Ronco,The Microwave oven by Sharp (I still have mine,the first turntable microwave) and 10 speed Bikes were new. I was 12 in 1972 and now I am 63 about to turn 64 (52 years ago). Sure,I Love Tech but I also feel like it is on overkill. Let's take smart homes for example. Yes it is convenient to have everything at your fingertips. Having all your appliances digitally talking to one another,Cameras in and  around the house,and water and power digitally controlled via wifi. The downside is that wifi can be hacked at which time the whole house would lay exposed to anyone with nefarious ideas. I recall some of the tech from the 70s t
